I am looking to run a lighting system through the ST Hub. It seems folks really like the Cooper dimmers. But I can’t find any device type handlers to actually integrate them with the ST hub. What am I missing? Before a spend a couple $k on switches, i’d love to confirm whether or not i can actually control these switches with an ST hub. And if not, why are people so enthused with them?

I found one on here for the RF9500.
I created a device type for this. It allows all three buttons to be used (1. on/off 2. dim up and 3. dim down).
I still have some cleaning up to do, but it now works with the button controller smartapp.
It’s a rather expensive switch, but for those that want to control their hues, tcp and ge link bulbs, this is a good option.

Might be some others that a search could bring up

Ya I wrote one too with dimming and color integration… have you bothered searching
Thank you, but are you aware of any device types for a non-battery-operated dimmer that directly controls the load, i.e. 9540 or 9534?
There are a number of people using Cooper switches with ST in the following thread, you might ask there to see if they’re just using the generic Zwave dimmer device type or something else:
I have some Cooper Aspire Z-wave dimmer switches (RF-9540 master switches and RF-9542 auxiliary switches). I got the Aeon Minimote to associate the auxiliary switches with the master switches, and that worked fine. Now both the auxiliary and the master switches will turn the same light on and off or dim it up and down.
Also, the auxiliary will update the master’s state correctly. If I turn the light off with the auxiliary, the master switch shows as off. If I dim the light with the auxiliary, the master’s level changes to match
Problems arise with the master switch updating the auxiliary’s on/off state and dim levels. If I turn the light off with the master, the auxiliary still shows its state as on, and I have to physically push the auxiliary button twice to get it back in sync. Same th…
