Is this really true or just very outdated?

What devices are unsupported by Alexa?

Unsupported devices include door locks, garage door openers, security systems (such as SmartThings Home Monitor), security devices (such as sirens), cameras, and smart cooking appliances.

It’s still true for scenes. Locks can be integrated individually. Most of the other stuff can’t be integrated unless it can act as a switch.
