I really want an iPad app. I’m playing with Home Automation Dashboard and ActioON. I had no problem deploying them, but making edits and customizing them is tedious.
I really would like a native full resolution iPad app. Can you get this out? It really should be a priority.
While I agree app development as a whole should be a priority. I and many others would much rather backend speed and stability improvements, a good app is nothing w/out the infrastructure to support it.
I use a Jailbreak tweak on my ipad called FullForce that works rather nicely to fill the screen without stretching things. There are some things here and there that are a bit odd because it’s doing things the developer isn’t quite intending but it looks a bit more complete.
I have an iPhone only app that when opened in landscape on an iPad Air shows a half black screen. What was the rendering problem with IOS 8.x. How did you work around it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
@Tyler, @Ben, how about getting the iPhone 6/6 Plus version of the iPhone app on our iPad’s? That at least in the short term it would look/work a little better. I get more on my screen on my 6 Plus then my iPad but would like to use the iPad more. Is there a way to do that until you can produce an actual iPad app?
I relly like smartthings but if there isn’t considerable and constant investment in enhancements, I don’t see smartthings keeping in front of the competition.
Really. No iPad version? I sure hope development isn’t being impacted by the note issue.
I agree. I see that people have been asking for this for several years. All my other home automation apps have landscape mode and when I use Smartthings I have to pick it up and use it in portrait.
