Just installed the Leviton D215S switch. Upgraded the firmware to Matter and successfully added it to ST. All I want is be able to utilize double tap, triple tap, etc. to control other lights / scenes but for the life of me can’t find and Edge Matter driver that allows for the double tap goodies. Is it because the switch won’t support that? Or can someone make dreams come true and point me to the best Edge to add that will allow this.
That would be the first thing to figure out. Do they advertise that?
According to the Matter compliance document, it supports On/Off but doesn’t support the standard Switch cluster for pressed button events so, at least, they are not providing that feature using standard Matter features.
While for a smart button, with no native double tap, the double tap can be emulated with software, you can’t do that with an on/off switch if there is no native support in the firmware.
