I have a SmartThings v2 Hub and intend to have a mixed Zigbee & Z-Wave environment. That said, would there be any concern with harmonics, RF or other related issues if I put both Z-wave and Zigbee GE light switches in the same electrical gang box? The thought process is that if I do this in a few areas, I could make both mesh networks stronger throughout my home. Thoughts?
Shouldn’t be a problem. They operate on different bands.
I wouldn’t put a wifi switch in the same box with a zigbee switch, as the Wi-Fi is likely to drown out the zigbee as they operate in the same band.
