Android presence error

Im trying to add an older phone i have to smartthings
i go to
Marketplace>Sensors>Presence Sensors>Mobile Phone
and get the following error

Ive read over this other post here but there isnt really any resolution, at least not for my problem

any idea how to get past this error?

FYI, i can go to google maps and it locates me
GPS and WIFI are on and working

so i kept going to android settings and location
but i actually needed to go to the SmartThings settings (within the app)
there you can select your location on the map
