Android App not working on mobile data

For some time I have had an issue with my Smartthings Android App not working properly when my phone is not connected to WiFi. In particular I use the app to control two separate locations, but when on mobile data I cannot change location. Selecting the drop down by location name in the app simply leaves a message “Loading” on the screen and the choice of the other location never appears.

Other Apps work fine on mobile data and the signal is strong

I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, clearing cache etc, but nothing makes a difference.
My phone is a Sony Xperia XZ2 Model H8216
Android version 10
No Data Saver or VPN used.
Smartthings App ver 1.7.91.24

I would be grateful for any assistance.

Just so you’re aware, this is primarily a place where users help other users. You might get an answer or you might not.

You should definitely report your problem to Samsung officially. In the app, tap on Menu at the bottom right and select Contact Us.
