Amcrest 841 problem

I was merely questioning if you had deleted the Amcrest Camera as a device in your list of “My Devices” in the IDE before you tried to remove the device handler code. Just throwing out ideas since I really do not know how to solve this problem. As I said before, I have never had this issue.

It may be necessary to contact support @ ST or a search of the forum may yield a solution. Wish I could be of more help.

not a problem and i really appreciate the help. i have submitted a support ticket. Again Thanks a Bunch

Got in this evening and went into my IDe and Saw that the Amcrest was removed from My Dewvice Handler and went in and Installed it again and it works. Thanks a Bunch.

Excuse me, what do you enter in “Video Channel”? Thanks.

Hi, I’m wondering if you have any suggestions or can help on a few things. (very much appreciated) and I hope I’m posting this the right way…

Current situation is: The camera in the app shows active, then shows it connecting… and connecting (see below)

  1. My camera logs show the application logging in and immediately logging out? (just keeps doing it over and over until I exit the camera in the app?

  2. Where can I find the Device Network ID? (I’m assuming the system camera name like AMC000ZM_XXXXX

  3. Is the process the same to add multiple cameras?

Thanks so much!

Hi @meites,

The Device Network ID will be set by the DTH based on your configuration setting for IP and Port #. You can initially set the Device Network ID to whatever you want, but once you use the DTH for the first time it will be set to the correct value. You should not change it after it has been set on its own.

Have you configured the camera properly? You can go here to find more information on setup:

Yes, multiple cameras can be added. Each camera will have its own configuration settings. You can not reuse the same IP for multiple cameras, obviously. The exception to this rule would be using Dynamic DNS and port mapping, but that functionality is currently broken and I have not had time to work on it yet.

I hope that helps.
