Has to be a error on there behalf. Hopefully they correct it with a future update
I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, but all that did was get a samsung rep to constantly repeat to me the basic troubleshooting steps over and over and over again……
I can no longer access the ambient lighting feature on the smart things app, but it is accessible under settings on the range itself. Not as convenient, I know…
right, but the range has to be “on” for that setting to be in use- and Samsung will not acknowledge the fact that the setting is no longer on the app. They keep telling me its there, just scroll down….

Oh I totally agree that it would be easier to have the ambient light function back on smart things. I was just happy to find it’s accessible thru the settings on the range itself. I use it a lot as I like having the ambient lighting on at night and no, the range does not have to be in use for it to work.
Not in use, but on. With the app feature- the oven didn’t need to be turned on, only the Smart Control.
