How do I obtain the Thread Network Key needed to use an Echo 4th Gen as my Thread Boarder Router (TBR)?
I am trying to add a Nanoleaf Essentials Matter over Thread bulb to a SmartThings v2 hub. I have an Amazon Echo Gen4 which has a TBR. SmartThings finds the Thread Network, but it wants me a Enter a 32-character network key that I can find.
I have looked in the Alexa app with no luck.
Add it to Alexa first, install the Nanoleaf app and in More - Thread networks it will reveal the keys and datasets. But it’s not needed.
You can add it to Alexa and just use Matter multi-admin to share it to SmartThings and you won’t need any credential. This solution is probably better as Alexa will be able to control the light without going through the SmartThings cloud.
