In the last month, Alexa has been horrendous. Some of my devices didn’t trigger routines, so I deleted the device, but they aren’t getting added back when I unlink and reconnect the Alexa skill. Does anyone know what is going on? My Alexa app seems to be extremely sluggish and I can barely get anything done. Maybe because I have hundreds of devices across multiple homes? It was never this bad. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!
I had a similar problem. New SmartThings devices were not getting added to Alexa and Alexa routines using Alexa Switches as triggers were not working. So about Gemini told me to do the following in the Alexa app: disable the Alexa skill, wait 60 seconds, re-enable the Alexa, sign back into your Samsung account, and run discovery. It worked and didn’t reck my Alexa routines.
And yes the Alexa app sucks and is very sluggish.
