You install the app on your tablet, and the skill in Alexa. It allows you to use your voice to pop a menu page up, or leave a message onscreen, etc. It also apparently does some automations. I just installed it seconds ago, and will report what I find.
It also allows phones or tablets rudimentary control of other tablets.
