I just got the Aeon Labs Gen 2 Door/Window Switch, DSB29-ZWUS, and the tamper function doesn’t seem to work. I have the first version of the Smartthings hub. The gen 1 version would show the switch as open when the device was moved away from the wall, but the gen 2 doesn’t. I’ve removed it from the network and reinstalled it but no go. I removed the batteries for a while and tried to start over, but no go. I don’t know if I just have a defective switch. Anyone else have one of these where the tamper function works? I can’t imagine why a new version would lose the functionality. Is there a way to view logs to see if the hub is registering the tamper commands at all?
