I have recently began deploying Alexa devices at home (Echo) and I have recently added the Smartthings skill hoping that it would connect with my electric range as well as my PC monitor (which I can both see in the Smartthings app on my phone), but to no avail.
The devices never show up in my Alexa interface. I do see them on my HomeAssistant though.
I have seen some old posts from a guy name Lars that said something was broken on many accounts and required fixing. Could this be it ?
Hi there, your not alone in the integration not showing up, I have two tvs(monitors) that don’t show up in my integration with google home. But all other devices show up including one’s that are connected by cloud to smarthing’s but to no workarounds has those tvs shown up. I did at one point have it show up in google until the google assistant was unsupported as a voice assistant on tizen os. So there could be an integration error or since its a range there might be a safety blocking it just so there’s no accidental commands from Alexa.
I’ve tried numerous times but they don’t show up. Everything is on the same network. I’ve even removed and re-added the devices to Smartthings hoping that it would but nothing happened.
