I use a smart washing machine in conjunction with the SmartThings app on my iPhone. In order to view how much time is left on my cycle, I have to go onto the app. It would be cool if the developers could add compatibility with Apple’s Live Activities feature.
This could enable the app to show how long is left on a washing machine/dryer cycle straight from the iPhone’s lock screen or displayed on the Dynamic Island.
With the upcoming iOS/macOS 26 release, this timer could also be displayed on your Mac if synced together.
Perhaps there is already a way to do this, since live activities were announced more than 3 years ago. If so - I would love to know how to enable this.
