Honestly, I do not know… All of our dev tools staff are WAY smarter (and better looking) than me, so I try to stay out of their way.
I can say that we are working on some changes with the front-end experience, which may change how things are organized - both visually and architecturally (you already saw SmartApps and Routines start fusing under Automations). With this is mind, the features you are looking for will probably not be immediate…
group ids are no longer shown in the api… any suggetions.

hmm… my InfluxDB Logger is getting the groupId from events, as follows:
def groupId = evt?.device.device.groupId
This still seems to be working as far as I can see…
or do you mean the IDE…?
I was also looking for this information…
For each of these groups, click the group and make note of the group name, and the group ID. The ID can be found by looking at the URL of the group page.
