Access forbidden (19 April 2019)

I’m trying to login to the IDE via my Samsung account this morning and getting:

## Error Message [403]

Sorry, the resource you want to access is forbidden, so this request has been refused.
If you have any questions, please contact the administrator.

Anyone else?

Try an incognito window.

If still doesn’t work, it could be temporary.

And be sure you are starting at - not any other URL!

I’m getting this as well, using in incognito mode but not in normal browser mode.

I’m going to take a wild guess that Samsung have started blocking incognito mode logins for security reasons.

Slightly frustrating as the webCoRE dashboard uses the same cookies as the IDE, so the IDE therefore throws errors when both are used on the same browser (so I always run the IDE in incognito mode).

man it’s just one thing after another.

If they are intentionally blocking incognito mode for security reasons, I guess that can’t be a bad thing and they probably have their reasons.

But more likely a bug lol…

I haven’t researched, but I would hope that it is impossible for a website to determine if the browser is in private or incognito mode.

Logins to most websites (including Samsung Login) may require storing a session cookie, but incognito mode does not prevent this. It just destroys the cookie upon exit.
