“Datatables warning: table id=device-table - Requested
unknown parameter ‘8’ for row 0. For information about
this error, please see http://datatables.net/tn/4”
Actually, as soon as I click on “my devices” I get the “DataTables warning: table id=device-table - Requested unknown parameter ‘8’ for row 0. For more information about this error, please see http://datatables.net/tn/4” messge.
@Dianoga I too am getting the same error. “DataTables warning: table id=device-table - Requested unknown parameter ‘8’ for row 0. For more information about this error, please see http://datatables.net/tn/4” I am having trouble controlling all devices in my Family Room via ST App (most current version). So I figured I would log into graphs to see what was happening before I reached out to support.
EDIT: So in regards to the Family Room devices not working, once I cleared past the message and went into devices that I was having problems with I noticed the location was not set. Once I set the location I was able to control the devices via the app. Also don’t depend on the device table overview to look for devices without locations set. They are all populated in the device table overview but if you go into a device the location is not set. Corruption?
EDIT2: So far it appears a lot of my devices lost there location so I am updating them now. However when I try to set the location for my Aeon Home Energy Meter I get the Access is Denied issue.
@Dianoga and @Jason_Troska. I think I figured this out. So the only devices that I received the Access Denied error on were devices that were not assigned to Groups in Graphs. For example the Aeon Home Energy Meter and Outside Conditions were not assigned to Groups because I liked them on the main tile page in the v1 app. When I assigned both of those devices to groups no more Access Denied error. Still does not resolve the "DataTables warning:, tough. Hope it helps.
Tried to edit the device network ID on an sensor that was not assigned a group and received the access denied error when attempting to update the configuration.
Added the sensor to a group
Tried to edit the device network ID on the sensor in the newly assigned group and was successful at updating the configuration.
I was able to get around the issue by using my wife’s iPhone instead of my own. I was actually trying to remove all devices to migrate to the v2 hub when I received the issue which was slightly different but I think it will work for this issue too.
