AC ON/Off question

Goal: I’d like to control my AC in a vacation rental based upon someone leaving the balcony door open for a period of time (say 30 seconds, the AC should turn off) also the AC would turn back on when the door is again closed.

Ecobee thermostat
Samsung open/close door sensor

I’m sure this one is easy for this community but I don’t see an easy solution in automations.

What’s the brand and model of the air conditioner? is it already controlled by the ecobee?

JD, yes the Ecobee controls the AC of 2 years age.
