Hello Everyone.

Today March 20, we will be releasing 56.10 to our Customer Beta Population. People who were previously enrolled in our 56 Customer Beta, will soon receive this latest version of 56.

56.10 Release Notes

  • Fixed a bug related to offline diagnostics to help ensure diagnostics are available while hubs are offline.
  • Fixed a bug related to Multi-Hub which prevented a notification from being generated correctly

Did that happen? Not arrived here yet and the beta usually rolls out really quickly.

Got 56.10 and all my Matter WiZ lights went offline, that has never happened to me before with a firmware update.

I had to power cycle some of them to re-establish the connection. Others eventually reconnected by themselves.

I just received last night this firmware (56.10) to one of my 5 Hubs. Odd thing is it’s a SmartThings Station not a main style hub (v2, v3, or Aeotec) and my other 4 are also not a main style as they are built in hub devices (another Station, TV, Soundbar, & Fridge w/Dongle). The other 4 haven’t updated yet. Second odd thing is I’m not signed up for the Beta program.

Tomorrow April 02, 2025 we will be updating previously enrolled hubs to 56.11. Please see the minor release notes here:

  • Fix a race condition in LAN device recovery during Local Network outages that prevented devices from recovering connection until a reboot.
