I can’t for some reason register my hub. I get right to the end of the set up but it won’t complete.

My first suggestion would be to check the LED Status color on your hub to see what it currently doing, what color is your LED light showing? This can assist you in determining the state: https://support.smartthings.com/hc/en-us/articles/205956920-What-do-the-LED-colors-on-the-Hub-mean-
There could be a couple of factors such as making sure you are within the range of your wifi network and your hub, clearing the cache of the smart things application and restarting your device.

Thank you for your response. I have now returned the hub for exchange, as I believe that the hub was faulty.

Hi all, thanks for your input. I have now got a replacement hub I’ve installed and registered the hub, but can’t get it to see my mimolite that I’ve set up with some laser detectors. Any help would be great.
