What's the orange/yellow circle on the new SmartSense Motion Sensor screen?

Hello,

I searched but couldn’t find an answer to this, so…

t just got the new (2014) SmartSense Motion Sensor with motion and temperature sensors, and I notice on the device screen an orange/yellow circle on the motion and temperature status. I can select one or the other, but am not sure what selecting them do.

Here’s a screenshot:

Note the orange/yellow circle over the motion status.

Can someone help explain what that does?

It determines what indicator is shown on the thing’s tile.
